Hi everyone; long time, no see!  This site is great.  It has been a blast reading about everyone.  Wow, how time has flown; I cannot believe it has been 30 years already!  Here’s the skinny on what I’ve been up to over that “short” span of time.  After attending LSU for a couple of years I transferred to Clemson Univ. in S. Carolina where I completed a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering.  As a student there, I worked with Exxon in the Netherlands as part of a work/study program.  I moved around for the next several years working in Houston, Kentucky, Italy, and then Los Angeles.  In 1988 I returned to LSU full-time to study for an MBA where I met my wife, the former Amy Moniotte (Tara '80; Susan Moniotte’s younger sister).  After business school I took a job with Ford Motor Co. and moved to Michigan.  Amy and I were married shortly afterwards and she joined me in Michigan and took a job at Ford, as well.  We have lived in Ann Arbor and the metro-Detroit area for 17 years now, so I suppose we are officially Yankees.  We have two terrific, active boys, Thomas (13) and Mark (10).  They keep us very busy with sports commitments.  Between baseball and ice hockey I must have visited just about every diamond and rink in the state by now ... Ohio and Ontario, too, for that matter.  In spite of living in Ann Arbor, the home of the Univ. of Mich., the boys are huge LSU fans (I wonder where they got that!).  They’re spoiled with LSU’s football success, and are way too young to remember the lean years.  Sadly, I won’t be able to make it back to the reunion this time.  Both kids have baseball tournaments that weekend, and June 21 will find me sitting in a bleacher somewhere.  Amy and I both still have family in Baton Rouge and we return at least once a year to visit.  Hopefully I’ll run into one of you along the way.

Thank you to the committee for making this all possible.  Please post lots of pictures after the fact.  (We're the old couple in the "now" picture taken this year at the North Am. Auto Show in Detroit.)
